Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy

Ukrainian Medical & Stomatological Academy (USMA) is a medical institution in Poltava, Ukraine, which was founded in the year 1921. It is also known as Poltava State Medical and Dental Academy. It is a part of the Poltava State Medical and Dental University which is the leading institute of higher education training for both physicians and dentists. The academy offers courses like Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry, and Nursing in English. It gained acclaim for having the lowest surgical death rate. In 1994 it was granted the title of the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy and highest accreditation level (IV). Its accreditation level was confirmed in the year 2004.

The sports complex of the UKRAINIAN MEDICAL AND STOMATOLOGY ACADEMY(UMSA) invites everyone to participate in sports activities. The university sports complex has 6 departments: for sports games, table tennis, aerobics, and rhythmic gymnastics, shaping, gym, and track-and-field athletics arena. There are several sports sections: track-and-field athletics, basketball, tennis, powerlifting, weight – lifting, swimming, mini-football, judo, wrestling, chess, and others. The stadium is created for physical education, training, competitions, and different sports events. From now on, every student and employ can play in these sports halls. The complex has a vast building with, two dressing rooms with showers and toilets. There is a stand for spectators for 1000 seats. The complex includes standard grounds for playing mini-football, basketball, volleyball, a ground tennis court, and outdoor sports equipment. All sports grounds are equipped with modern lighting and an acoustic system.

Living Conditions of Students:
The academy operates four dormitories, which are a short distance from the school. Foreign students live 9-floor building improve planning (blocks to 5 persons), equipped furnished by 100%. In each hostel are on duty around the clock security guards of the company “Antares -2000”, which is authorized and licensed MIA. We are giving our students bed sheets, pillow, blanket, TV, Refrigerator, Laundry, Dining and Heating system, and Microwave oven from University for free to use. Rooms available with 1 person in one room,2 persons in one room,3 persons in one room with internet zone HOSTEL CHARGES PER YEAR: 1000US$ (newly renovated rooms in a new hostel with internet free for 3 months) It is the responsibility of the student to be familiar with the University regulations and financial matters.

Management is very particular that the rooms are clean, airy, well ventilated, and hygienic. Each wing of the hostel has a recreation room Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy has a very good hostel system with fully furnished rooms, a quiet study environment, and surrounded with recreation center. Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy 3 hostels with a total area of 44512 sq.m for the accommodation of 3344 students. The territory of the Academy and the main students’ routes from the hostels to the educational buildings are protected and patrolled by officers of guard service.

Rooms on campus are available to students. All hostel rooms are furnished and vary in size and number of conveniences. Dormitory rooms at UKRAINIAN MEDICAL STOMATOLOGICAL ACADEMY (UMDA) hostel can accommodate 2 or 3 students in a room. All rooms are equipped with a bed, mattress, pillow, blanket, desk, chair, heater, water heaters, and suitable lighting for both study and relaxation. There are common areas where students can play and mingle.

Upon the student’s arrival on campus, specific accommodations are assigned and after a satisfactory health report, the student will be accommodated in the room which is allotted to him.

Off-campus housing can be obtained in nearby apartments. Available apartments and houses are furnished and vary in size, cost, and number of conveniences.

• Age limits for admission – 17 years to 25 years.
• Students must complete 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) from a regular board of India or abroad.
• Students that studied under open board or correspondence classes are not eligible.
• Minimum 50% combined aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• NEET qualification (with a 50% score for the general un-reserved category) is a must if the student intends to practice in India after the MBBS study in Ukraine.
